Debugging

There are a number of ways to identify problems and performance issues. See below for more information.

System information

Overseer renders useful information about your system including GPU settings and framerates. To find this information, navigate to Settings > Developer > System information. You can click the “Copy to clipboard” button to easily share it with others.

Logs

Overseer logs a number of important lifecycle events and can be useful for spotting errors, should they occur. The log file can be found in the following location:

• Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Overseer Studio\logs\main.log
• macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Overseer Studio/main.log
• Linux: ~/.config/Overseer Studio/logs/main.log
